From 15–17 June 2026, the Main Planning Conference and Scenario Development Workshop for the Coherent Resilience 2026 – Northeast (CORE 26-NE) Tabletop Exercise (TTX) was held in Warsaw, Poland. The event was jointly hosted by War Studies University (Akademia Sztuki Wojennej) and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Poland (Ministerstwo Energii).

This event brought together 49 participants representing key stakeholders to review and discuss the CORE 26-NE TTX scenario, objectives, design, and timeline. The Main Planning Conference helps align different organizational goals with the overall Exercise Specifications. At the Scenario Development Workshop, participants provided valuable feedback on the draft scenario, vignettes, and injects. Reviewing and refining these products is an important milestone to ensure the Training Audience has feasible, relevant, and actionable discussions during the TTX.

CORE 26-NE TTX, scheduled to take place in Vilnius in November 2026, will serve as a strategic exercise to strengthen interoperability and resilience among NATO Allies and Partner nations on the Alliance’s north-eastern flank. The exercise will focus on identifying interdependencies between electricity and gas networks, addressing vulnerabilities in energy supply chains, and enhancing the security and resilience of critical energy infrastructure.
