“NATO ENSEC COE serves as a platform for cooperation among the military, academia and industry, so we are particularly pleased to welcome you to our Centre,” said NATO ENSEC COE Deputy Director COL Gildas Precheur, welcoming a delegation from Hungary’s Óbuda University, led by its Rector, Professor Levente Kovács, PhD, DSc, accompanied by representatives of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH).

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on the main projects and activities pursued by the participating institutions. Discussions highlighted several areas of shared interest, particularly technological innovation, the practical application of research, and energy supply security.

Potential avenues for collaboration were explored, ranging from participation in fellowship programmes for academics and students to the development and publication of scientific articles on energy-related issues. The discussions also addressed opportunities to cooperate on specific projects in response to NATO Allies’ requirements.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to maintain contact and further explore concrete opportunities for collaboration, laying the groundwork for a stronger partnership between the institutions.
