On Friday, May 15, a delegation from the ENSEC COE had the unique opportunity to visit the French Air and Space Force detachment located at Šiauliai Air Base, where the personnel are actively participating in the Baltic Air Policing mission.
This visit provided an in-depth understanding of the expertise offered by the Operational Energy Service (France) team, particularly their advanced fuel control chain and cutting-edge equipment.
One of the highlights of our visit was the chance to see the Rafale fighter jet up close, showcased by the detachment commander, Lieutenant Colonel Alexandre. Overall, it was an enriching experience that deepened our appreciation for the critical work being carried out in support of mission efforts.
