The NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence is proud to launch the Energy Innovation and Technology Tracker. It is a tangible outcome of the strong and productive collaboration between NATO and the ENSEC COE.

At the 2023 NATO Summit in Vilnius, the Heads of State and Government reaffirmed the Alliance’s commitment to improve energy efficiency and leverage innovative, next-generation technologies, while ensuring military effectiveness and a credible deterrence and defence posture. This sent a clear and powerful message and underscored the imperative that innovation and technology must be harnessed in the most effective way possible to enhance our resilience and operational energy efficiency.

Today, as new ideas and technologies continue to emerge at a rapid pace, it is more important than ever for the Alliance to move in lockstep, ensuring interoperability now and into the future.

This is where the Tracker comes into play. It serves as a valuable and practical informative toolbox tailored to the military needs of the Allies, enabling them to explore innovative and energy-efficient technologies, assess their key benefits and associated risks, and support a coherent, forward-looking approach to enhancing energy security and resilience across the Alliance.

We invite you to explore the tracker and discover new ways to empower innovation and collective security.

You can access the platform here (registration with an official government email address is required).
