On 17-18th of April 2024, members of the Steering Committee (SC) of The NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence (ENSEC COE) met in Tallinn, Estonia. This was already 24th time when representatives from ENSEC COE Framework and Sponsoring Nations, as well as Contributing Partners, Observers and COE Staff members discussed questions regarding COE structure, budget, main passed and planned activities, ongoing projects.
24th SC meeting was chaired by Mr. Žilvinas Tomkus, Vice-minister of the Defence of Lithuania.
In addition to the meeting, participants had a possibility to visit the landing site of the Estonia-Finnish gas pipeline „Balticconnector“, Paldiski LNG terminal and Paldiski South Harbor.
SC members (in-person) meets twice a year in a different location. Next SC meeting is planned to be organized in France.
